Promo Post: Check Out These Cool Blogs

I did something LIKE this a few months ago when I highlighted a number of blogs that feature the poor or homeless.  I really don’t know if I promoted those blogs all that much, but hopefully a few of my readers found some great blogs after that.

Just this week I saw the little WordPress counter informing me that I now have 100 followers!  Yay!  100 – woohoo!

That is actually a very humble number of followers – especially after almost 2 years of blogging.  But that is okay, I am into humility.

But then Lisa Louise posted the other day that her counter informed her she had now written 50 posts!  And she sorta celebrated it by writing about it.  And that got me to thinking…  I should do another promo post.  Only this time, the theme is not the subject matter, but the humble counts of followers.  From one humble blogger to another, I think I will promote other blogs that I happen to follow, which also have less than 100 followers.

I am not gonna lie.  Some I like more than others.  But each one of them posted something at one time or another that I thought was worthwhile.  And who knows?  Perhaps the one I like least might be your favorite one.

So… I invite my readers to check out these blogs.  I think all of them are Christian bloggers.  A lot of them are women bloggers with mostly women’s interests.  Some are deeply theological.  Others are rough around the edges.  I will let you figure all that out for yourself.  But I hope you will check them out.  Especially if your blog is featured on this list.  Humble blogs supporting other humble blogs sounds pretty cool to me.  And for those readers of mine who have 300, 400, 500 or even 600 followers, I invite you to check out these hidden treasures too.

Here is my list:

Some of these bloggers have been at it a while.  Your visit will be greatly encouraging, I am sure.  Others are actually fairly new, and may prove popular quickly, but still your visit will be encouraging.

Please consider paying them a visit.  Tell them Agent X sent you.  And hopefully we can all be supportive of one another.

Thanx.

Someone reminded me that Jesus started out with 12 followers, so that reminder was very encouraging!!!!!

Agent X This is all good stuff. I’ve already read several and will end up reading them all. Actually, for best exposure, this should all be merged on one giant webpage for maximum exposure. These peripheral blogs such as yours and mine are those type of blogs that really should be read. Posting these blogs is a service and I appreciate it. Now then, for the bottom line: I really want OTHERS to read this. What I mean by others are those who are in position and who DON’T now do this: those in the organized church. Yes, yes, I know that is what it is all about. Again, that’s why this should be in one central blog. These should be the PRINCIPAL readings, not those merely on the peripherals. This is not because we are such great writers, no—but because these points of views need to be exchanged among the churches. I desire this and for it to be on video. Yes, I root big as I really believe all of this is that important. Thank you for this contribution. It is a major one.

Congratulations on reaching 100!!! May God grow that number exponentially by igniting other hearts to care for others as much as yours does. You are an encouragement!
